Partnership (Account) Manager
Lanworks Inc. is a full service computer organization specializing in designing, selling, installing and supporting cutting edge LAN and WAN technologies, based on Microsoft networking platforms.
Currently, Lanworks has an opening for an Account Manager (Sales Representative) who will help the company in their quest of providing high quality customer service.
Responsibilities
- selling existing and new solution and service
offerings to mid client space in GTA
area
- proven record of sales quota achievement
- 75% new business development/25% existing customer service
- follow up on generated leads to qualify opportunities and initiate sales
cycle
- develop, manage and win sales opportunities
- organize client specific presentation and technology live demos
- perform annual account plans
- provide accurate and timely sales forecasting reports
- manage relationships with key client decision makers
- work with vendor sales team on specific sales opportunities and accounts
- evaluate client IT requirements and needs (infrastructure related)
- prepare complex solution selling proposals (manage preparation of scope of
work
& solution pricing)
- prepare sales quotes and coordinate product delivery
- manage and coordinate blue printing session with the clients (IT planning
session)
- maximize revenue and profit contributions from each and every client
(cross, up
and down selling)
- coordinate project delivery activities among the client and Lanworks
project teams
- coordinate and manage order processing actives
- participate in marketing events (seminars, trade shows, and similar)
Requirements
- 2+ years of account management experience
within mid space
- good knowledge of Information Technology infrastructure solutions
- experience in Solution Selling
- strong opportunity and sales negotiation skills
- knowledge of major product lines from the following vendors are a plus:
Microsoft,
HP, IBM, Cisco, Altiris
- good knowledge of MS Office
- excellent written and spoken English language skills
- proven record in successful relationship management with client IT
directors,
managers and technical staff
